About
My name is Karla Collazo, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of A Thriving YOU. Welcome, I am so glad you are here as I know that taking the first step in working on your mental health is not an easy task. ​ As a dedicated therapist, I specialize in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, ADHD, and self-esteem. I believe in the power of having one's story witnessed in order to move towards health and healing. I am passionate about walking alongside my clients as they navigate growth and change, as I have witnessed the beauty found in vulnerability, creativity, and the therapeutic relationship. ​ I have worked in various capacities from being a school counselor and working with children and families, to working with individuals that have experienced trauma and the effects it leaves.
